4 Year Deathiversary - Pokemon to the Rescue

The 4 years since HUD passed have not gotten easier - there are definitely better days now but this weight of losing a child doesn’t get lighter. It’s always strapped to you.

But when others, especially perfect strangers, help you carry the load like Kevin Moss did (thanks to “genius” pokemon memorial! :)), you see purpose and love in the life your kid gives others. That will get me through today. And then someone else will inevitably reach out and let me know Hud gave them a sign or tell me a story about Hud or send me a picture of Hud I didn’t have. And that will get me through tomorrow - all of these connections to Hud are what keep me going. Knowing he’s as alive in others minds and hearts as he is in mine - there’s healing in that. 💜💜
