On HUD's 89th night of wilderness rehab, I spent the night with him to experience a semi-typical night of hiking/camp life - it was heavy. One of his counselors told me Hudson had trouble sleeping at night so she played the ukulele for him the nights she was with him. His favorite song was Hey There Delilah by the Plain White T’s. She played it for us (and somewhere over the rainbow -Kelly’s fav song) the night I was there. Huge thank you to Amy Brown for letting me know PWT’s played at the Underground in CLT last night and getting me and Anna Jacobs to go! Oh, besides the obvious of feeling Hud all throughout the song, PWT’s new album is AMAZING!! Super fun night. And don’t ask about the Slut sweatpants! LOL! :)

I'll always treasure the commute time that I shared with Jay and Hud from Fort Mill to Clanton Road. At first, Jay would take over my radio and play all the awful rap music and after a few commutes, I said, no more! If it has body parts as "lyrics" of the song, I don't want to hear it in my car :). I said surely of all the music out there we can come up with some songs that we all like... to which Hud said, I have one.... Hey There Delilah. We played that song a lot over the next several weeks in my minivan!!!
